Often there are very different tasks to resolve and in order to do so new machines and detergents are required (tempering, grit, ...). Normally, the surface which needs to be cleaned must not be damaged. According to this requirement, the cleaning process needs to be gentle and mild. The JOS-blasting method in combination with a blasting system from Radler & Ruf can solve these problems. By using several detergents with different grits, compositions and tempers, these blasters are setting new standards within the range of surface technology.
By inserting JOS special nozzles, fine pieces and ornaments can be processed optimally and almost without any loss of material, as the nozzle produces a rubbing effect with water and a rotating swivel. This procedure stands for an exact blasting result and at the same time the surface is taken care of at its best. Furthermore, the blasting nozzles are environmentally friendly, since no additional chemicals are required. The low consumption of water is about 60 to 80 litre per hour. For further information please go to JOS-Nozzles.
The amount of granulate can be adjusted precisely by a special sand dosing valve. To assure a smooth operation, we recommend equipping each blaster with a vibrator mounted directly at the device and an aftercooler. For a low pressure procedure, working with a pressure between 1 and 4 bar is optimal. By applying a hose package with a Venturi carbide metal nozzle the blaster may be used up to 10/12 bar (for a 24-litre-device up to 8 bar) and also for all kinds of dry blasting tasks. Please note that the remote control always needs a minimum pressure of 4 bar.
The JOS blasting procedure in connection with blasters from Radler & Ruf is used when it comes to restoring facades, graffiti removal, general restoring works, elimination of fire damages and monument protection. Besides that, the blasters are used for the cleaning of tiles and bricks, sandstone, clinker bricks, etc.
Generally, our JOS blasters are equipped with the following components:
- Self-closing quick release cone
- Dosing valve for abrasives (fine tuning)
- Pressure control
- All fittings
- Hose package:
Blasting hose 2,5 m, JOS-nozzle (standard) with mount, case coupling, rewash equipment,
lever valve for remote control, water hose 2,5 m - Water separator
- Pneumatic remote control, 2 parts with lever valve and silencer
- Abrasive sieve
- Lid
- Extension of blasting hose (10 m) with dual control pipe and hose coupling
For a full version we are recommending:
- Vibrator (mounted at the device)
- Extension of blasting hose (length according to your needs) with dual control pipe and hose couplings
- Aftercooler ACA 003 designed for construction sites, volumetric flow 3m³/min. up to 16 bar, automatic water drainage, electric motor 220 V
- 10 m compressor hose 3/4" with Mody screw couplings
