Pressure Blasting Cabinet 4050

The model 4050 comes with a unit for cleaning of the abrasive material (cyclone 900), a filter box and a pressure vessel (23 litres). It is suitable for all commercially available abrasives with the exception of quartz sand and slag.

The blasting gun is operated by hand but can also be locked into an arbitrarily fixable nozzle holder. The blasting process can be controlled by a foot switch.

The work pieces can be put into the cabinet via two side loading doors. Two integral gloves which are padded on the inside and coated with rubber on the outside provide a comfortable arm support. 

A large window allows unhindered insight into the cabinet. Within the cabinet, good and consistent illumination prevails due to the dust-proof tubular lamp made of duran glass (borosilicate glass) with ballast and PL lamp 2 x 36 W.

By a flexible hose (Ø 150 mm), the blasting cabinet is connected to the adjacent cyclone (cleaner for abrasive material 25,5 m³/min., 2,2 kW). The cyclone consists of a ventilator, precleaner, filter and collection hopper for abrasive material and is equipped with a filling and a cleaning flap. By a flexible hose (Ø 180 mm) the dusty air flows to the filter. It consists of a filter chamber with a pocket filter and supporting frame, a manual cleaning mechanism and a dust drawer. The dusty air is cleaned within the pocket filter and afterwards released into the atmosphere.

The pressure blasting vessel consists of a self-closing quick acting closure taper, an abrasive mixing valve, a pneumatically controlled on-off valve, which can be operated by a foot switch, a pressure control and a water separator.
